Coto Cordoba CB signs rookie Jacques-Melaine Guemeta in his first year in pro basketball

Coto Cordoba CB (Segunda FEB) strengthened their roster with the addition of Cameroonian 196cm guard Jacques-Melaine Guemeta for the 2025-26 season. He just graduated from Ottawa (U Sports) and has played there for the last three years. Guemeta helped them win the OUA Tournament and finish the regular season in the top position.
As mentioned above, he is just out of college and it will be his first full season in pro basketball. He was voted the All-OUA Defensive Player of the Year in 2025.
