Abega is back at Milano Urania

Urania Basket Milano (Serie A2) signed 21-year-old Cameroonian guard Lionel Abega (190cm-2004, agency: SLN) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He is the second foreign player on the roster, with USA's Kevion Taylor having signed earlier. This marks Abega's return to Milano, where he previously played. He will continue to stay in Italy after a successful season with TAV Treviglio Brianza Basket (Serie B Nazionale), where he was the second-best scorer with 10.9ppg, 2.4rpg, 1.9apg, and 1.0spg in 42 games. Abega's contributions helped the team win the regular season and reach the semifinals, earning him the title of League Player of the Week. In the previous 2023-24 season, he played for another Italian team, Logimatic Group Ozzano dell Emilia, also in Serie B Nazionale.
He has played previously for three other teams: Milano Urania, Pavia, and Cantu.
