Tortona keeps Biligha for another season

Paul Biligha

Bertram Yachts Derthona Tortona (Serie A) have re-signed experienced 35-year-old former Italian-Cameroonian international 200cm center Paul Biligha, who is represented by Players Group, for the upcoming season. Biligha played for the team last season, averaging 5.1ppg and 2.1rpg in 27 Serie A games, as well as 4.8ppg and 2.6rpg in 16 Basketball Champions League games. He helped the team reach the quarterfinals. In the previous (2023-24) season, he played for another Italian team, Dolomiti Trentino.
He was also a member of the Italian international program for some years. Biligha played for Italian Senior National Team between 2017 and 2023 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2010.
He also represented Italy at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers two years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 6.3 ppg and had 2.6 rpg.
Biligha has spent his entire career in Italy playing for seven other teams: Armani Milano, Umana Venezia, Pavia Basket, Firenze PDrag, Avellino, Cremona and Firenze PDrag.
Between 2017 and 2023, Biligha's team won the Italian League Regular Season. He received the Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A Most Improved Player of the Year award during 2017.
