Tarbes-Lourdes keep Ateba for another season

L'union Lourdes-Tarbes Pyrenees Basket (NM1) re-signed experienced 34-year-old Cameroonian international 192cm guard Fabien Ateba for the new season. He has played there for the last two seasons. The previous (2023-24) season he played at another French team C'Chartres.
He also represented Cameroon at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Riga (Latvia) last year. During this event, he scored an average of 7.7 ppg and had 1.3 rpg.
Ateba has spent his entire career in France playing for eight other teams: Calvados, Tours, Hyeres-Toulon, Provence Basket, Saint Vallier, SPO Rouen, Souffel, and Orchesien BC.
His team won the French NM1 Group A Regular Season in 2021.
