ES Chalon-Sur-Saone (Betclic ELITE ProA) has agreed to terms with 28-year-old American point guard Jeremiah Hill for the new 2024-25 season. Hill, who also holds a Cameroonian passport, played for I.Ness Ziona in the Israeli Winner League last season. In two games, he recorded 3 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals but did not score. Prior to that, he played for Runa Basket in the Russian league.
Hill represented Cameroon at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Riga (Latvia) this year. During this event, he scored an average of 12 ppg and had 4.3 rpg.
He is a very experienced player. Hill has played in nine different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America). He has played professionally in Kazakhstan (Astana), Russia (Parma-Pari), Spain (Real Betis and Basquet Girona), France (Gravelines Dunkerque), ABA (Jacksonville G.), NBA G League (Osceola Magic), NBA Summer League (Orlando Magic), and The Basketball Tournament (Rise and Grind).
Hill's team reached the Spanish Liga Endesa Supercup Final Four in 2023. He was named Asia-Basket.com All-Kazakhstan League Player of the Year in 2021.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League (ESL) player, which is considered the top international summer league on the market.
Hill graduated from Valdosta State in 2017 and it'll be his 8th season as a pro player. He played for Savannah State University for 1 year.
