Senegal - Cameroon 74:80

Cameroon clinched Qualifying Tournament ticket from African continent beating Senegal 80-74 in the Final. Both teams nailed 25 points each in the opening period, whilst Cameroon erupted with a 22-8 surge in the second frame to dominate the game. Senegal replied with two narrow wins in the second half, however could not upset the opponents. Youssou Ndoye (213-C-1991, college: St.Bonaventure) reduced to 3 points at the very end, whilst Jeremiah Hill (188-PG-1995, college: Valdosta St.) and Samir Gbetkom Bikantchou (191-G-1998) brought the win for their side from the free throw line. Samir Gbetkom Bikantchou stepped up with 19 points and Philippe Bayehe poured in 15. Youssou Ndoye answered with 18 points in a loss and Brancou Badio (188-G-1999) delivered 16.
