We bring you last week's top performances from Cameroonians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
#1. This week's number one is former international center
Landry Nnoko (208-94, college:
Clemson, currently plays in Euroleague). He contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (7-7) crushing them
91-66 in the Euroleague on Thursday night.
Nnoko scored 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 15 minutes on the court.
TD Systems Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz (5-9) is placed 13th in the Euroleague.
It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses.
It's Nnoko's first season with the team.
This year he averages: 5.7ppg, 4.5rpg, 2FGP: 56.7%(34-60) and FT: 56.3% in 14 games he played so far.
Nnoko played for the Cameroonian senior national team three years ago.
#2. Second place goes to an international power forward
Philippe Bayehe (203-99, currently plays in Italy). He could not help
Cantu (2-1) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Bayehe's very good performance the first-placed Cantu (2-1) was defeated
95-90 at home by the much lower-ranked Piacentina (#10) in the Group Green.
He scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
Bayehe's overall stats this season are: 7.7ppg, 5.2rpg, 2FGP: 51.0% and FT: 78.0%.
He has a dual citizenship: Cameroonian and Italian.
Bayehe is in the roster of the Cameroonian senior national team.
#3. The Cameroonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced international forward
Kenny Kadji (211-88, agency:
Slash Sports, college:
Miami, FL, currently plays in France). He led
Gravelines-Dunkerque to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Cholet Basket (3-8)
90-74 in the French Betclic ELITE ProA last Saturday.
Kadji scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in a mere 19 minutes.
BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral (8-2) is placed second in the Betclic ELITE ProA.
It was Gravelines-Dunkerque's third consecutive victory in a row.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
Kadji has relatively good stats this year: 13.0ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.3bpg, 2FGP: 53.8%, 3FGP: 46.4%(13-28) and FT: 76.1% in 10 games.
He is also a member of the Cameroonian senior national team.
#4. Small forward
Williams Narace (201-97, currently plays in France) managed to help Le Mans Sarthe Basket in a victory against the 16th-ranked Chalons-Reims (3-8) crushing them
100-71 in the French Betclic ELITE ProA in Saturday night's game.
Narace scored 5 points and added 3 assists in 16 minutes.
Le Mans Sarthe Basket (9-1) is placed first in the Betclic ELITE ProA.
It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
This year Narace has relatively solid stats: 10.6ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.1spg in 11 games.
He is also Cameroonian national team player.
#5. International forward
Benoit Mbala (200-95, currently plays in Spain) led
Caceres to a victory over the 16th-ranked Juaristi ISB (3-8)
79-69 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) last Friday.
Mbala was MVP of the game. He scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
Caceres Patrimonio de la Humanidad (1-2) is placed third in the LEB Gold.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
Mbala has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 15.2ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.1spg.
Mbala plays currently for the Cameroonian national team.
#6. Point guard
Gedeon Pitard (186-89, currently plays in France) contributed to a
Olympique Antibes' victory against the 15th-ranked ASA (3-6)
93-85 in the French ProB (second division) in Friday night's game.
He scored only 4 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists.
Sharks Antibes (9-1) is placed first in the ProB.
It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
Pitard's overall stats this season are: 6.6ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.8apg and 1.3spg.
He is an international player who is currently on the senior Cameroonian National Team roster.
#7. Former international forward
Harding NaNa (203-81, college:
Delaware, currently plays in Switzerland) was not able to help
Swiss Central in their game against Fribourg (9-1) in the Swiss SBL.
NaNa scored 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
But Swiss Central was badly defeated
81-63 on their home court in Luzern by the second-ranked Fribourg.
It was Swiss Central's fourth consecutive loss in a row.
NaNa is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Swiss Central's roster.
He has reliable stats this season: 10.7ppg, 2.9rpg and 1.2apg.
NaNa used to play for the Cameroonian national team
six years ago.
#8. Center
Junior MBida (206-90, currently plays in France) faced previously mentioned Williams Narace in the French Betclic ELITE ProA last game.
MBida was not able to secure a victory for
Chalons-Reims (7-3) in their game against Le Mans (7-4). He cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones.
MBida scored only 2 points in 15 minutes.
Chalons-Reims was crushed
100-71 on the road by the lower-ranked (#5) Le Mans.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
This year MBida's overall stats are: 3.5ppg and 3.3rpg in 11 games.
He used to play for the Cameroonian national team
back in 2015.
#9. International guard
Samir Gbetkom Bikantchou (191-98, currently plays in France) couldn't help
JA Vichy (4-5) in their last game. Despite his good performance JA Vichy was edged
71-69 on the opponent's court by the second-ranked Chalon/Saor.
Gbetkom Bikantchou scored 10 points in 21 minutes.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.

#10. Guard
Hans Ntamack (187-92, currently plays in Basketball Africa League) couldn't help
SLAC (1-1) in their game against Fukash (1-1) in the Basketball Africa League, despite his very good performance on Sunday night.
Ntamack scored 13 points and added 3 assists in 25 minutes.
But the league leader SLAC lost
89-104 to the second-ranked Fukash.
His team will play only one more game in the Basketball Africa League Qualifying Round. And that game will be critical.
This year Ntamack's total stats are: 8.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 3.0apg in two games.
He is a former international player as four years ago he still played for the Cameroonian senior national team.
#11. International guard
Aristide Mouaha (191-0, currently plays in Italy) helped
Latina win their game against the 14th-ranked Fabriano
91-77 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) in Sunday night's game.
Mouaha scored 6 points.
Mouaha has averaged so far 9.9ppg, 2.7rpg, 1.4apg and 1.5spg.
He plays currently for the Cameroonian national team.
#12. International guard
Frank Tchoubaye (198-92, currently plays in France) helped
SOPCC win their game against the eighth-ranked Orchesien BC
86-76 in the French NM1 (third division) on Friday night.
Tchoubaye scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
Tchoubaye has averaged so far 6.5ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.1apg and 1.9spg.
He is also in the roster of the Cameroonian national team.
The list of other players, who all have Cameroonian passport but never been selected to any of Cameroonian national teams: #1. Joel Embiid (213-C-94, college:
Kansas, currently plays in NBA) led
Philadelphia 76ers to a 3-point victory over the Charlotte Hornets (15-14)
127-124 in the NBA in Monday night's game.
He was MVP of the game. Embiid had a double-double by scoring 43 points and getting 15 rebounds. He also added 7 assists in 41 minutes.
The Philadelphia 76ers have 15-13 record this season.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
It's Embiid's eighth year with the team.
Embiid has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 24.2ppg, 10.8rpg, 4.2apg, 1.4bpg and 1.1spg in 17 games he played so far.
#2. Pascal Siakam (206-F-94, college:
NM State, currently plays in NBA) could not help the
Toronto Raptors (13-14) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Siakam's very good performance the Toronto Raptors (13-14) were edged
110-109 on the road by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 11 rebounds. Siakam also added 5 assists.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
It's Siakam's sixth year with the team.
This season he has very high stats. Siakam averages: 18.8ppg, 7.7rpg and 3.8apg.
#3. JP Tokoto (200-F-93, college:
UNC, currently plays in Israel) was not able to help
Hapoel Tel-Aviv (3-6) in their last game on Monday. Despite Tokoto's good performance Hapoel Tel-Aviv was defeated
87-75 in Jerusalem by the leading Hapoel.
He scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
This season Tokoto has relatively solid stats: 11.0ppg, 7.9rpg and 2.3apg.
He has a dual citizenship: Cameroonian and American.
#4. Experienced
Christian Koloko (213-C-0, currently plays college basketball in the States) managed to help University of Arizona in a victory against the University of Illinois (2-0)
83-79 in the NCAA on Saturday night.
He scored only 4 points, had 7 rebounds and made 4 blocks in 28 minutes.
The University of Arizona has 1-0 conference record this season.
There are only three games left until the end of the NCAA Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Koloko has reliable stats this year: 14.4ppg, 6.9rpg, 1.4apg and 3.3bpg in eight games.
#5. Jonathan Tchatchoua (203-F-99, currently studies in the States) contributed to an easy victory against the Villanova University crushing them
57-36 in the NCAA last Sunday.
Tchatchoua recorded 7 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 24 minutes.
The Baylor University has 9-1 overall record this season.
This year Tchatchoua's overall stats are: 8.4ppg, 8.3rpg and 1.1apg in eight games.
He is another player who holds two passports: Australian and Cameroonian.
#6. Roland Nyama (198-SF-93, college:
Stony Brook, currently plays in Germany) led
Falcons to a victory against the 12th-ranked SparkassenStars
105-93 in the German ProA (second division) on Sunday night.
Nyama recorded 11 points and added 4 assists.
Nyama has reliable stats this season: 11.3ppg, 2.8rpg, 1.9apg and 1.2spg.
He has both Cameroonian and German nationalities.
Despite Nyama's Cameroonian passport, he previously played for the German U16 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Cameroonian team.
#7. Charles Lampten (211-F, is currently at the American university) contributed to a 2-point
Charleston's victory against the Presbyterian College
78-76 in the NCAA in Sunday night's game.
Lampten recorded 7 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks in 24 minutes.
This year Lampten's overall stats are: 1.3ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.2bpg in nine games.
#8. Nelson Yengue (195-SG-92, college:
Laurentian, currently plays in Spain) was the major contributor in an
La Antigua's victory against the ninth-ranked La Flecha crushing them
87-54 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) last Sunday.
He recorded 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
Yengue has reliable stats this season: 11.5ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.8apg.
#9. Eric Fongue (200-SF-91, college:
Alaska, currently plays in Iceland) was not able to secure a victory for
Thor AK (6-3) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Thor AK lost
