Strawberry comes back to Orleans

Entente Orleans 45 (Betclic ELITE ProA) added to their roster experienced 36-year old American (has also Cameroonian passport) shooting guard D.J. Strawberry (196cm-85, college: Maryland). It is actually his comeback to Entente Orleans 45 as he has played here before. Strawberry already started the season at Pau-Lacq-Orthez (Betclic ELITE ProA). In two games he recorded 10.0ppg, 6.5rpg and 3.0apg. The last season he played at Universidad Catolica de Murcia CB in Spanish Liga Endesa where in 29 games he averaged 5.8ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.7apg.
In 2007 he was drafted by Phoenix Suns (NBA) in second round (59th overall). The former University of Maryland star is in his 15th (!!!) season in pro basketball. He has been regularly called to Cameroonian Senior National Team since 2017.
Strawberry is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in eleven different countries. He has played previously professionally in Croatia (Cibona), Greece (Olympiacos), Israel, Italy, Lithuania (Rytas), Puerto Rico (Capitanes), Turkey (Pinar Karsiyaka and Besiktas), NBA (Houston Rockets), Spain (Gran Canaria), NBA G League (Stockton Kings) and The Basketball Tournament (Team Challenge ALS).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Strawberry's team made it to the Turkish Cup Final Four in 2015 and 2018. Strawberry was voted to Turkish League All-Star Game back in 2018.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Orleans.
