D.J. Strawberry selected the top Cameroonian playing abroad in last week's games- December 15, 2020
The list of other players, who all have Cameroonian passport but never been selected to any of Cameroonian national teams: #1. Philippe Bayehe (204-C/F-99, currently plays in Italy) could not help Cantu (2-1) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Bayehe's good performance the first-placed Cantu (2-1) was crushed 101-67 on the road by the lower-ranked Vanoli Cremona (#4) in the Group A. He was the second best scorer with 13 points. Bayehe's overall stats this season are: 3.6ppg and 2.2rpg. He has a dual citizenship: Cameroonian and Italian. #2. JP Tokoto (198-F-93, college: UNC, currently plays in Israel) was not able to help Hapoel Tel-Aviv in their game against M.Rishon (4-3) in the Israeli Winner League. Tokoto scored 9 points and added 5 passes in 18 minutes. But Hapoel Tel-Aviv lost 85-91 in Rishon Le-Zion to the higher-ranked (#7) M.Rishon. It was Hapoel Tel-Aviv's fourth consecutive loss in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Tokoto's overall stats are: 8.3ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.5apg in four games he played so far. He is another player who holds two passports: Cameroonian and American. #3. Despite Nyama's good performance Walter Tigers was defeated 97-90 in Quakenbrueck by the higher-ranked Artland Dragons (#3). He scored 14 points (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line). But the season just started, so everything may happen. Nyama has relatively good stats this year: 15.0ppg, 2.0rpg, 1.2apg and 1.2spg. He has both Cameroonian and German nationalities. Despite Nyama's Cameroonian passport, he previously played for the German U16 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Cameroonian team. #4. CB Tormes La Antigua (6-0) is placed first in Group A-B. So far his team won all six games in the Regular Season. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season.
