H.Tel-Aviv may land JP Tokoto

Hapoel SP Tel-Aviv (Winner League) is close to add to their roster 27-year old American (has also Cameroonian passport) forward JP Tokoto (198-91kg-93, college: UNC) who played last time at Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona. Tokoto managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In 14 Winner League games he recorded 14.2ppg, 9.1rpg, 4.1apg and 2.2spg (in top 3). Good season as he was named League Player of the Week (2 times). Tokoto also played 1 game in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged impressive 17 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. The other team Tokoto played that season for was Burgos in Spanish league. In 13 Basketball Champions League games he had 6.5ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.5apg.
In 2015 Tokoto was drafted by Philadelphia 76ers (NBA) in second round (58th overall). He attended University of North Carolina and it may be his sixth season in pro basketball.
Tokoto is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America) in five different countries. Tokoto has played previously professionally in Australia (Perth Wildcats), NBA (Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks), NBA G League (OKC Blue and Rio Grande Valley Vipers) and The Basketball Tournament (Armored Athlete).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Tokoto's team made it to the Australian NBL Semifinals in 2018. He was also voted Australiabasket.com Australian NBL All-Imports Team in 2018.
