Monique Ngo Ndjock signs at San Giovanni

RR Retail Galli San Giovanni Valdarno (Serie A2) landed experienced 34-year old former Cameroonian international forward Monique Ngo Ndjock (185-85, agency: LBM Management). She played most recently at Della Fiore Broni in the Serie A1. In 19 games she averaged 6.5ppg and 5.1rpg last season. Serie A2 will be definitely a better match and she can see more playing time.
The previous (18-19) season Ngo Ndjock played at Gesam Gas Le Mura Lucca (also in Serie A1). Serie A1 was a little too high level for her, where in 23 games she had just 1.8ppg and 3.4rpg.
Ngo Ndjock also represented Cameroon at the Olympic Games Additional Qualifying Round in Nantes (France) four years ago.
She has spent her entire career in Italy playing for seven other teams: Schio, Parma, Ragusa, Pomezia, Ancona, Napoli and Pomezia.
Among many awards she received Eurobasket.com All-Italian A2 Honorable Mention award back in 2013.
