We bring you last week's top performances from Cameroonians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
#1. This week's number one is an international center
Landry Nnoko (208-94, college:
Clemson, currently plays in Germany). Nnoko contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked ratiopharm Ulm (20-14)
98-83 in the German BBL on Tuesday night.
He scored 7 points in 18 minutes on the court.
ALBA Berlin (27-7) is placed third in the BBL.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
It's Nnoko's first season with the team.
This year Nnoko averages: 9.2ppg, 6.4rpg, 2FGP: 64.2%(88-137) and FT: 67.7% in 26 games he played so far.
He is currently a member of the Cameroonian senior national team.
#2. Second place goes to an international forward
Kenny Kadji (211-88, college:
Miami, FL, currently plays in Turkey). Kadji managed to help Tofas Bursa to win against the closely-ranked Besiktas (16-12)
82-73 in the Turkish BSL in Sunday night's game.
He scored only 3 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 6 assists.
Tofas Bursa (9-7) is placed third in the BSL.
Kadji has relatively good stats this season: 11.7ppg, 4.6rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 49.4%, 3FGP: 36.0% and FT: 74.1%.
He is in the roster of the Cameroonian senior national team.
#3. The Cameroonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international shooting guard
Jeremy Nzeulie (188-91, currently plays in France). Nzeulie could not help
SIG Strasbourg (20-14) to beat JDA Dijon (27-7).
He scored 7 points in 17 minutes.
SIG Strasbourg lost
85-89 on the road to the higher-ranked (#3) JDA Dijon.
This year Nzeulie's overall stats are: 7.6ppg, 2.2rpg, 1.6apg, 2FGP: 41.2%, 3FGP: 32.6% and FT: 74.2% in 29 games.
He has a dual citizenship: Cameroonian and French.
Nzeulie is also a member of the Cameroonian senior national team.
#4. An experienced shooting guard
D.J. Strawberry (196-85, college:
Maryland, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help
Gran Canaria (0-0) in their game against UCAM Murcia (12-22) in the Spanish Liga Endesa.
He recorded 6 points.
his team was defeated
82-77 in Murcia by the much lower-ranked UCAM (#14).
Strawberry's total stats this season are: 10.0ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.9apg.
He is another player who holds two passports: Cameroonian and American.
Strawberry is also Cameroonian national team player.
#5. International forward
Williams Narace (201-97, currently plays in France) was not able to secure a victory for
Sluc Nancy (22-12) in their last game. Despite his good performance Sluc Nancy was edged
70-67 in Blois by the lower-ranked (#8) ADA Blois.
Narace was the top scorer with 11 points. He also added 6 rebounds in 25 minutes.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
This year Narace's total stats are: 7.8ppg and 5.1rpg in 34 games.
He plays currently for the Cameroonian national team.
#6. Forward
Benoit Mbala (203-95, currently plays in France) couldn't help
Aix-Maurienne (9-25) in their game against Paris (16-18) in the French ProB (second division), despite his very good performance on Friday night.
Mbala had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 13 rebounds in 30 minutes.
But Aix-Maurienne was edged
72-70 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked (#11) Paris.
It was Aix-Maurienne's third consecutive loss in a row.
The Regular Season already ended.
Mbala has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.2ppg, 7.2rpg, 1.2apg and 1.1spg in 18 games.
Mbala is an international player who is currently on the senior Cameroonian National Team roster.
#7. Former international center
Gaston Essengue (203-83, college:
UNLV, currently plays in Argentina) couldn't help
CA Platense (22-4) in their game against Deportivo Viedma (15-11) in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina (second division). Despite his good performance in Wednesday night's game He was the second best scorer with 11 points. Essengue also added 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists.
This season Essengue has relatively solid stats: 14.3ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.1apg.
He used to play for the Cameroonian national team
four years ago.
#8. Center
Junior MBida (206-90, currently plays in France) contributed to an easy victory against the 13th-ranked Lille Metropole (13-21) crushing them
94-71 in the French ProB (second division) last Friday.
MBida recorded 6 points in 24 minutes.
Entente Orleans 45 (25-9) is placed second in the ProB.
It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
MBida has averaged so far 6.6ppg and 5.0rpg in 34 games.
He used to play for the Cameroonian national team
back in 2015.
#9. International forward
Arnaud-William Adala Moto (198-93, agency:
Duran International, college:
Towson, currently plays in France) contributed to a
JA Vichy's victory against the closely-ranked SPO Rouen (24-10)
77-72 in the French ProB (second division) on Friday night.
Adala Moto recorded only 2 points and had 3 steals.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Jean D'Arc Vichy Clermont Metropole (24-10) is placed third in the ProB.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important.
Adala Moto has averaged so far 6.3ppg and 2.8rpg.

Toronto Raptors to a victory against the Milwaukee Bucks (60-22)
105-99 in the NBA in Thursday night's game.
He had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 13 rebounds. Siakam also added 3 blocks in 36 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. The Toronto Raptors have a solid 58-24 record this season.
Siakam has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 17.2ppg, 6.9rpg and 3.0apg in 98 games he played so far.
#2. JP Tokoto (198-F-93, college:
UNC, currently plays in Israel) contributed to a
Hapoel Eilat's victory against the closely-ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona (15-18)
96-89 in the Israeli Winner League last Saturday.
Tokoto recorded 11 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists.
Hapoel Eilat (22-11) is placed fourth in the Winner League.
