We bring you last week's top performances from Cameroonians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
#1. This week's number one is an international center
Landry Nnoko (208-94, college:
Clemson, currently plays in Germany). Nnoko led
ALBA Berlin to an easy victory against the closely-ranked ratiopharm Ulm (20-14) crushing them
107-78 in the German BBL last Saturday.
He recorded 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
ALBA Berlin (27-7) is placed third in the BBL.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
This season Nnoko averages: 9.3ppg, 6.6rpg, 2FGP: 64.7%(86-133) and FT: 67.4%.
He is currently a member of the Cameroonian senior national team.
#2. Second place goes to an international guard
Gedeon Pitard (188-89, currently plays in France). Pitard could not help one of league's weakest teams
Chalons-Reims (22-12) in their last game. Despite his good performance Chalons-Reims was edged
84-81 at home by the higher-ranked (#3) JDA Dijon.
Pitard recorded 14 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and made 2 blocks in 38 minutes.
The Regular Season already ended.
This year Pitard's overall stats are: 4.8ppg, 2.4rpg, 2.2apg, 2FGP: 53.7%, 3FGP: 33.9% and FT: 71.1% in 33 games he played so far.
He has a dual citizenship: Cameroonian and French.
Despite Pitard played previously for the French U18 national team, he is currently a member of the Cameroonian senior national team.
#3. The Cameroonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced former international center
Gaston Essengue (203-83, college:
UNLV, currently plays in Argentina). Essengue led
CA Platense to a surprising victory over the fourth-ranked Deportivo Viedma (15-11)
75-73 in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina (second division) on Friday night.
He was MVP of the game. Essengue recorded 25 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.
Club Atletico Platense Florida (22-4) is placed tenth in South group.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
Essengue has relatively good stats this season: 14.7ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.1apg, 2FGP: 57.5%(100-174), 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 94.1%(32-34).
He played for the Cameroonian national team four years ago.
#4. Forward
Benoit Mbala (203-95, currently plays in France) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams one of league's weakest teams
Aix-Maurienne in their game against Denain Voltaire (12-21) in the French ProB (second division), despite his very good performance in Friday night's game.
Mbala was the top scorer with 28 points. He also added 4 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 23 minutes.
But Aix-Maurienne lost
78-84 on their home court in Aix-les-Bains to the higher-ranked (#15) Denain Voltaire.
Mbala's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
Mbala has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.1ppg, 6.9rpg, 1.2apg and 1.1spg in 17 games.
Mbala is also Cameroonian national team player.
#5. Former international center
Alexis Wangmene (205-89, college:
Texas, currently plays in Belgium) was not able to secure a victory for
Liege Basket (14-8) in their game against Okapi Aalstar (14-22) in the Belgian Euromillions League. Despite his very good performance last Sunday He scored 17 points, had 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks.
The Regular Season already ended.
This season Wangmene has relatively solid stats: 13.7ppg, 7.4rpg and 1.1bpg.
He used to play for the Cameroonian national team
four years ago.
#6. Shooting guard
D.J. Strawberry (196-85, college:
Maryland, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a
Gran Canaria's victory against Zaragoza
84-79 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Sunday night.
Strawberry scored 6 points in 15 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Herbalife Gran Canariais placed in the Liga Endesa.
Strawberry has reliable stats this year: 10.1ppg, 2.2rpg and 2.0apg in 33 games.
He is another player who holds two passports: Cameroonian and American.
Strawberry is an international player who is currently on the senior Cameroonian National Team roster.
#7. International forward
Williams Narace (201-97, currently plays in France) managed to help Sluc Nancy Basket Pro in a victory against the 13th-ranked ALM Evreux (13-20)
91-85 in the French ProB (second division) last Friday.
He scored only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 13 minutes.
Sluc Nancy Basket Pro (22-11) is placed fifth in the ProB.
Narace's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial.
This year Narace's total stats are: 7.7ppg and 5.0rpg in 33 games.
He is also Cameroonian national team player.
#8. Center
Junior MBida (206-90, currently plays in France) helped
Entente Orleans 45 win their game against one of league's weakest teams Caen (8-25)
78-70 in the French ProB (second division) on Saturday night.
MBida scored only one point, had 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks.
Entente Orleans 45 (24-9) is placed third in the ProB.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important.
MBida has averaged so far 6.6ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.1bpg.

#9. International forward
Arnaud-William Adala Moto (198-93, agency:
Duran International, college:
Towson, currently plays in France) couldn't help
JA Vichy (23-10) in their game against Chorale de Roanne (25-7) in the French ProB (second division). Adala Moto cannot count Friday's game as one of the best ones.
He scored only 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 18 minutes.

N.Mexico St., currently plays in NBA) was the major contributor in a
Toronto Raptors' victory against the Milwaukee Bucks (60-22)
118-112 in the NBA in Sunday night's game.
He had a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 11 rebounds. Siakam also added and 3 steals in 51 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. The Toronto Raptors have a solid 58-24 record this season.
Siakam has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 17.4ppg, 6.9rpg and 3.0apg in 95 games he played so far.
#2. Ralph Temgoua (194-G-87, college:
St.Lawrence, currently plays in France) led
SO Maritime Boulogne to a victory over the fourth-ranked JSA Bordeaux (9-8)
83-70 in the French NM1 (third division) on Sunday night.
Temgoua was MVP of the game. He recorded 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in 37 minutes.
SO Maritime Boulogne (7-11) is placed eighth in Places 1-10 group.
It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.

#3. JP Tokoto (198-F-93, college:
UNC, currently plays in Israel) could not help
Hapoel Eilat (22-11) in their last game on Monday. Despite Tokoto's good performance Hapoel Eilat was defeated
81-77 on the road by the lower-ranked Rishon (#7).
He scored 12 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Tokoto has relatively good stats this season: 13.5ppg, 7.6rpg, 3.1apg and 1.5spg.
He is another player who holds two passports: Cameroonian and American.
#4. Samir Gbetkom Bikantchou (191-G-98, currently plays in France) was not able to help
Le Portel in their game against JL Bourg (30-4) in the French Jeep ELITE ProA.
He recorded 6 points.
Le Portel was defeated
92-86 at home by the second-ranked JL Bourg.
The Regular Season already ended.
This season Gbetkom Bikantchou averages only 1.1ppg.
#5. Maxime Djo Ebala (208-C-94, currently plays in France) managed to help BC Orchies to win against the tenth-ranked La Charite (3-15)
87-76 in the French NM1 (third division) last Saturday.
Djo Ebala recorded only 2 points.
