We bring you last week's top performances from Cameroonians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
#1. This week's number one is an experienced international shooting guard
D.J. Strawberry (196-85, college:
Maryland, currently plays in Spain). He led
Gran Canaria to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Leche Rio Breogan (9-21)
92-77 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Sunday night.
Strawberry was MVP of the game. He scored 20 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 31 minutes on the court.
Herbalife Gran Canaria (13-20) is placed 12th in the Liga Endesa.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's Strawberry's first season with the team.
Strawberry has relatively good stats this year: 10.3ppg, 2.2rpg, 2.0apg, 2FGP: 49.6%, 3FGP: 37.6% and FT: 68.3% in 32 games he played so far.
He has a dual citizenship: Cameroonian and American.

#2. Second place goes to an international center
Landry Nnoko (208-94, college:
Clemson, currently plays in Germany). He was the major contributor in a 1-point
ALBA Berlin's victory against the tenth-ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (16-18)
80-79 in the German BBL in Sunday night's game.
Nnoko recorded 11 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
ALBA Berlin (27-7) is placed third in the BBL.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
This season Nnoko averages: 9.2ppg, 6.7rpg, 2FGP: 64.3%(83-129) and FT: 67.1%.

#3. The Cameroonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward
Williams Narace (201-97, currently plays in France). Narace contributed to an easy victory against the 14th-ranked Quimper UJAP (12-20) crushing them
110-72 in the French ProB (second division) on Tuesday night.
He recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 12 rebounds.
Sluc Nancy Basket Pro (21-11) is placed fifth in the ProB.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important.
Narace's overall stats this season are: 7.8ppg, 5.1rpg, 2FGP: 43.4%, 3FGP: 32.2% and FT: 65.5%.
He is also a member of the Cameroonian senior national team.
#4. Guard
Gedeon Pitard (188-89, currently plays in France) could not help
Chalons-Reims (21-12) in their last game. Despite Pitard's good performance Chalons-Reims lost
96-102 at home to the lower-ranked (#9) JL Bourg.
He scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 22 minutes.
Pitard's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season.

#5. Former international center
Junior MBida (206-90, currently plays in France) contributed to a
Entente Orleans 45's victory against the tenth-ranked Poitiers (16-16)
83-79 in the French ProB (second division) last Sunday.
MBida scored 14 points.
Entente Orleans 45 (23-9) is placed third in the ProB.

#6. Power forward
Franck Yangue (205-90, currently plays in Turkey) was not able to help
Buyukcekmece in their game against Darussafaka (13-15) in the Turkish BSL.
Yangue scored 8 points, had 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 31 minutes.

Alexis Wangmene (205-89, college:

Liege Basket (14-8) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Wangmene's very good performance Liege Basket was defeated
93-80 on the opponent's court by the leading Oostende.
He was the second best scorer with 15 points. Wangmene also added 9 rebounds.

This season Wangmene has relatively solid stats: 13.6ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.1bpg.

#8. Forward
Benoit Mbala (203-95, currently plays in France) couldn't help
Aix-Maurienne (9-23) in their last game. Despite Mbala's very good performance Aix-Maurienne lost
84-93 in Evreux to the higher-ranked (#13) ALM Evreux.
He was the second best scorer with 19 points. Mbala also added 4 passes in 30 minutes.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season.
Mbala has reliable stats this year: 14.3ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.3apg and 1.2spg in 16 games.
He plays currently for the Cameroonian national team.
#9. Former international center
Gaston Essengue (203-83, college:
UNLV, currently plays in Argentina) couldn't help
CA Platense (22-4) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Essengue's good performance the tenth-placed CA Platense (22-4) was defeated
80-68 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Rocamora (#4) in the South group.
He was the second best scorer with 12 points. Essengue also added 4 rebounds.
Essengue averaged so far 13.6ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.1apg.

#10. Point guard
Aldo Curti (180-87, currently plays in France) couldn't help
Souffelweyersheim (14-3) in their game against Rueil (8-10) in the French NM1 (third division). Curti cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones.
He recorded only 3 points and added 4 passes.
Souffelweyersheim was defeated

Arnaud-William Adala Moto (198-93, agency:

JA Vichy (23-9) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite Adala Moto's good performance JA Vichy was defeated
85-71 in Orleans by the higher-ranked Entente 45 (#3).

The list of other players, who all have Cameroonian passport but never been selected to any of Cameroonian national teams: #1. Pascal Siakam (206-F-94, college:
N.Mexico St., currently plays in NBA) led
Toronto Raptors to a victory over the Philadelphia 76ers (51-31) crushing them
125-89 in the NBA in Tuesday night's game.
He was MVP of the game. Siakam scored 25 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 34 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. The Toronto Raptors have a solid 58-24 record this season.
Siakam has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 17.4ppg, 6.9rpg and 3.0apg in 92 games he played so far.
#2. Joel Embiid (213-C-94, college:
Kansas, currently plays in NBA) could not help the
Philadelphia 76ers (51-31) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Embiid's very good performance the Philadelphia 76ers (51-31) were edged
92-90 at home by the Toronto Raptors.
He recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 11 rebounds. Embiid also added 4 assists and 3 blocks.
It's Embiid's fifth season with the team.
This year he has very high stats. Embiid averages: 26.4ppg, 13.1rpg, 3.6apg and 2.0bpg.
#3. JP Tokoto (198-F-93, college:
UNC, currently plays in Israel) was not able to help
Hapoel Eilat in their game against Galil Gilboa (11-20) in the Israeli Winner League.
Tokoto recorded 9 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 24 minutes.
But Hapoel Eilat lost
82-91 on the road to the lower-ranked (#10) Galil Gilboa.
It was Hapoel Eilat's first loss after three consecutive victories.

Eboua scored 7 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks.
His team was defeated

#7. Philippe Bayehe (204-C/F-99, currently plays in Italy) is a teammate of previously mentioned Paul Herman Eboua and both played together in the last Italian Serie A2 game.
Bayehe couldn't help
Roseto Sharks in their game against Remer TVG. He cannot count Wednesday's game as one of the best ones.

#8. Jean-Dieudonniz Biog (205-C-95, currently plays in France) managed to help Andrezieux Boutheon Loire Sud Basket to win against the leader Lorient crushing them
