Here is the weekly review of the top performing Cameroonian players, who play currently abroad.

Landry Nnoko

   #1. This week's number one is an international center Landry Nnoko (208-94, college: Clemson, currently plays in Germany). Nnoko contributed to an ALBA Berlin's victory against the league outsider Science City Jena (5-27) 81-77 in the German BBL in Tuesday night's game. He recorded 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. ALBA Berlin (24-7) is placed third in the BBL. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This season Nnoko averages: 9.4ppg, 6.6rpg, 2FGP: 69.4%(75-108) and FT: 73.4%. He is currently a member of the Cameroonian senior national team.

Frank Tchoubaye

   #2. Second place goes to an international forward Frank Tchoubaye (198-92, currently plays in France). Tchoubaye led Souffelweyersheim to a victory over the second-ranked STB Le Havre (13-5) 70-65 in the French NM1 (third division) last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Tchoubaye scored 17 points and grabbed 5 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) in 30 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Places 1-10. BC Souffelweyersheim (14-2) is placed first. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And now that game is very crucial. Tchoubaye has relatively good stats this year: 10.4ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.5apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 44.0%, 3FGP: 35.9% and FT: 73.6% in 34 games he played so far. Ex-Condor de Yaounde player is in the roster of the Cameroonian senior national team.

Franck Yangue

   #3. The Cameroonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Franck Yangue (205-90, currently plays in Turkey). He could not help Buyukcekmece (8-19) to beat Galatasaray (17-9). Yangue scored 9 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. But Buyukcekmece was crushed 86-65 at home by the much higher-ranked Galatasaray (#4). The Regular Season already ended. Yangue's overall stats this season are: 2.3ppg, 3.1rpg, 2FGP: 54.5% and FT: 44.4%. He is also a member of the Cameroonian senior national team.

D.J. Strawberry

   #4. An experienced shooting guard D.J. Strawberry (196-85, college: Maryland, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help Gran Canaria in their game against FC Barcelona (23-6) in the Spanish Liga Endesa. Strawberry scored 9 points in 21 minutes. But Gran Canaria was badly defeated 97-77 on their home court in Las Palmas by the much higher-ranked (#3) FC Barcelona. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. It's Strawberry's first season with the team. This year his overall stats are: 9.9ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.9apg in 30 games. Strawberry has a dual citizenship: Cameroonian and American. He is also Cameroonian national team player.

Williams Narace

   #5. International forward Williams Narace (201-97, currently plays in France) was not able to secure a victory for Sluc Nancy (20-10) in their last game on Friday. Despite Narace's good performance Sluc Nancy was defeated 80-73 on the road by the lower-ranked Poitiers (#8). He scored 11 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. Narace's total stats this season are: 7.6ppg and 4.8rpg. He plays currently for the Cameroonian national team.

Gaston Essengue

   #6. Center Gaston Essengue (203-83, college: UNLV, currently plays in Argentina) was the major contributor in a CA Platense's surprising victory against the fourth-ranked Rocamora (3-5) 70-56 in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina (second division) on Friday night. Essengue recorded 16 points in 22 minutes. Club Atletico Platense Florida (22-4) is placed tenth in South group. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Essengue has relatively solid stats: 14.2ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.2apg in 12 games. He is a former international player as he played for the Cameroonian senior team four years ago.

Junior MBida

   #7. Former international center Junior MBida (206-90, currently plays in France) couldn't help Entente Orleans 45 (21-9) in their game against Saint Chamond (18-12) in the French ProB (second division). MBida scored 6 points, had 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 21 minutes. Entente Orleans 45 lost 69-78 in Saint Chamond to the lower-ranked (#6) Saint Chamond. Pitard cannot count Friday's game as one of the best ones. He recorded only 2 points and added 3 assists in 11 minutes. His team was edged 83-81. Pitard has averaged so far 4.3ppg, 2.2rpg and 2.0apg in 30 games. He plays currently for the Cameroonian national team.

   #12. International forward Arnaud-William Adala Moto (198-93, agency: Duran International, college: Towson, currently plays in France) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Gries/Oberhoffen crushing them 90-67 in the French ProB (second division) on Friday night. He scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Adala Moto has averaged so far 6.4ppg and 2.9rpg. He is also in the roster of the Cameroonian national team.

   #1. Joel Embiid (213-C-94, college: Kansas, currently plays in NBA) led Philadelphia 76ers to a victory over the Toronto Raptors (58-24) crushing them 116-95 in the NBA in Thursday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Embiid had a double-double by scoring 33 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 assists and 5 blocks in 28 minutes. The Philadelphia 76ers have a solid 51-31 record this season. It's Embiid's fifth year with the team. Embiid has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 26.8ppg, 13.3rpg, 3.7apg and 2.0bpg in 72 games he played so far.

   #2. Pascal Siakam (206-F-94, college: N.Mexico St., currently plays in NBA) could not help the Toronto Raptors (58-24) in their last game on Monday. Despite Siakam's very good performance the Toronto Raptors (58-24) were defeated 94-89 on the road by the Philadelphia 76ers. He was the second best scorer with 21 points. Siakam also added 7 boards, dished 3 assists and stole 4 balls. This season Siakam has very high stats. He averages: 17.4ppg, 6.9rpg and 3.0apg.

   #3. JP Tokoto (198-F-93, college: UNC, currently plays in Israel) was the major contributor in a Hapoel Eilat's victory against the eighth-ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona (13-17) 89-77 in the Israeli Winner League on Monday night. Tokoto had a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 11 rebounds in 32 minutes. Hapoel Eilat (21-9) is placed fourth in the Winner League. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Tokoto has relatively good stats this year: 13.8ppg, 7.6rpg, 3.3apg and 1.6spg in 30 games. He has a dual citizenship: Cameroonian and American.

   #4. Ralph Temgoua (194-G-87, college: St.Lawrence, currently plays in France) contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Rueil (7-10) crushing them 98-73 in the French NM1 (third division) in Saturday night's game. Temgoua scored 10 points. SO Maritime Boulogne (7-10) is placed seventh in Places 1-10 group. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Second Stage. Temgoua's total stats this season are: 8.9ppg, 2.8rpg and 2.2apg. He is another player who holds two passports: Cameroonian and French.

   #5. Philippe Bayehe (204-C/F-99, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Roseto Sharks in their game against Remer TVG (18-10) in the Italian Serie A2 (second division). Bayehe scored 6 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. The eighth-placed Roseto Sharks (15-15) was defeated 80-67 in Treviglio by the higher-ranked Remer TVG (#3) in the East group. Bayehe has averaged so far 1.8ppg and 1.4rpg.

   #6. Experienced Tcheussi Aristide Mouaha (190-G-0, agency: Two Points, currently plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for Roma S.Azzurra in their game against San Severo in the Italian Serie B (third division). He scored 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 30 minutes. His team lost 57-68. Mouaha has very impressive stats this year: 17.3ppg, 5.2rpg, 2.5apg and 2.0spg in 30 games.

   #7. Kevin Ndzie (209-C-3, currently plays in Italy) is a teammate of previously mentioned Tcheussi Aristide Mouaha and both played together in the last Italian Serie B game. Ndzie couldn't help Roma S.Azzurra in their game against San Severo. He scored 7 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 22 minutes. His team lost 57-68. Ndzie has averaged so far 2.7ppg and 2.4rpg in 20 games.

   #8. Jean-Dieudonniz Biog (205-C-95, currently plays in France) couldn't help ALS Basket (6-4) in their last game on Friday. Despite his good performance the fourth-placed ALS Basket was defeated 79-73 at home by the second-ranked Lourdes-Tarbes in the Places 21-28 group. Biog recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting 11 rebounds. Biog has averaged so far 6.7ppg and 4.3rpg. He has both Cameroonian and French nationalities. Despite Biog's Cameroonian passport, he previously played for the French U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Cameroonian team.

   #9. Paul Herman Eboua (203-F/C-0, currently plays in Italy) is a teammate of previously mentioned Philippe Bayehe. But that was another game of his team in Italian Serie A2 which we would like to mention. Eboua couldn't help Roseto Sharks in their game against Remer TVG. He cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. Eboua recorded only 2 points in 4 minutes on the court. His team lost 77-83. Eboua has averaged so far 5.3ppg and 3.3rpg in 34 games.

   #10. Cedric Keller (204-F/C-1, currently plays in Italy) is a teammate of previously mentioned Tcheussi Aristide Mouaha. He played also in the last Italian Serie B game facing Kevin Ndzie (above) in the other team. Keller couldn't help Roma S.Azzurra in their game against San Severo. He cannot count Thursday's game as one of the best ones. Keller scored only 2 points. His team was defeated 68-57. Keller has averaged so far 3.6ppg and 2.7rpg.
