   #1. This week's number one is an international center Landry Nnoko (208-94, college: Clemson, currently plays in Turkey). Nnoko was the major contributor in a Sakarya BSB's victory against the closely-ranked Acibadem (3-2) 84-71 in the Turkish BSL last Sunday. He recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 12 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Nnoko's third season in pro basketball. Sakarya Buyuksehir Basketbol (3-2) is placed fifth in the BSL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Nnoko has relatively good stats this season: 14.8ppg, 9.3rpg, 1.5bpg, 2FGP: 47.2% and FT: 81.8%. He is currently a member of the Cameroonian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international shooting guard Jeremy Nzeulie (188-91, currently plays in Basketball Champions League). Nzeulie could not help SIG Strasbourg (3-1) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the third-placed SIG Strasbourg (3-1) lost 83-92 on the road to the lower-ranked (#4) Neptunas in the group D of Basketball Champions League. Nzeulie was the top scorer with 22 points (made all of his five free throws) in 23 minutes. They ended the series of three consecutive victories. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Nzeulie's first year with the team. This season he has relatively solid stats: 13.8ppg, 2.3rpg, 3.0apg, 2FGP: 42.1%, 3FGP: 42.9% in four games he played so far. Nzeulie has a dual citizenship: Cameroonian and French. He is in the roster of the Cameroonian senior national team.

Benoit Mbala

   #3. The Cameroonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Benoit Mbala (203-95, currently plays in South Korea). Mbala was not able to help Samsung Thunders (3-6) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Samsung Thunders lost 79-91 in Changwon to the higher-ranked (#5) LG Sakers. Mbala was the top scorer with 30 points. He also added 8 rebounds in 29 minutes. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. It's Mbala's first season with the team. Mbala has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 22.3ppg, 9.2rpg, 1.4apg, 1.7bpg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 59.8%(70-117), 3FGP: 22.2% and FT: 70.5% in nine games. Mbala is also a member of the Cameroonian senior national team.

Kenny Kadji

   #4. Forward Kenny Kadji (211-88, college: Miami, FL, currently plays in EuroCup) led his Turkish team Tofas to a victory against the closely-ranked Cedevita (2-3) 94-89 in the Eurocup last Wednesday. He scored 14 points. Tofas Bursa (2-3) is placed fourth in group B. This season Kadji has very high stats. He averages: 15.2ppg, 5.8rpg and 1.2apg. Kadji is also Cameroonian national team player.

   #5. An experienced international shooting guard D.J. Strawberry (196-85, college: Maryland, currently plays in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for Gran Canaria (3-2) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Strawberry's good performance Gran Canaria was defeated 86-79 in Manresa by the lower-ranked La ICL (#5). He recorded 10 points and had 4 steals. Strawberry has reliable stats this season: 10.7ppg, 2.6rpg, 2.3apg and 1.4spg. He is another player who holds two passports: Cameroonian and American. Strawberry plays currently for the Cameroonian national team.

   #6. Guard Gedeon Pitard (188-89, currently plays in France) managed to help Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket in a victory against the 15th-ranked Olympique Antibes (2-6) 86-78 in the French ProA last Friday. He scored 5 points in 18 minutes. Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket (4-3) is placed seventh in the ProA. This year Pitard's overall stats are: 4.6ppg, 2.0rpg and 2.1apg in seven games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Cameroonian National Team roster.

Former international point guard Aldo Curti (180-87, currently plays in France) contributed to Souffelweyersheim's victory against the fourth-ranked Orchesien BC (6-3) 69-61 in the French NM1 (third division) on Tuesday night. Curti scored 6 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 5 assists. BC Souffelweyersheim (9-0) is placed first in Group A. So far his team won all nine games in the Regular Season. Curti's total stats this season are: 7.3ppg, 2.8rpg, 5.9apg and 1.5spg. He used to play for the Cameroonian national team three years ago.

Tchoubaye contributed to Souffelweyersheim's victory against the fourth-ranked Orchesien BC (6-3) 69-61. He scored 10 points in 20 minutes. This year Tchoubaye's total stats are: 9.0ppg, 4.1rpg, 1.6apg and 1.5spg in eight games. He plays currently for the Cameroonian national team.

Despite Essengue's very good performance Puente Alto was edged 77-76 in Concepcion by the second-ranked Universidad de in the Conferencia Centro. He was the second best scorer with 19 points. Essengue also added 7 rebounds in 37 minutes. Essengue has averaged so far 9.1ppg and 5.3rpg in eight games. He used to play for the Cameroonian national team three years ago.

   #10. Center Junior MBida (206-90, currently plays in France) contributed to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked Saint Chamond (3-1) 86-69 in the French ProB (second division) last Saturday. MBida recorded only 4 points in 20 minutes. Entente Orleans 45 (4-0) is placed first in the ProB. So far his team won all four games in the Regular Season. MBida has averaged so far 3.5ppg and 4.0rpg in four games. He is a former international player as three years ago he still played for the Cameroonian senior national team.

   #11. International forward Arnaud-William Adala Moto (198-93, agency: Duran International, college: Towson, currently plays in France) contributed to a 3-point JA Vichy's victory against the 15th-ranked Poitiers 76-73 in the French ProB (second division) on Friday night. He recorded 7 points in 16 minutes. Adala Moto has averaged so far 9.5ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.3spg in four games. He plays currently for the Cameroonian national team.

   #12. International forward Franck Kouagnia (201-89, currently plays in France) couldn't help GET Vosges in their game against ALS Basket in the French NM1 (third division). Kouagnia scored only 4 points. His team was defeated 82-75. Kouagnia has averaged so far 6.3ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.3apg. He is also in the roster of the Cameroonian national team.


The list of other players, who all have Cameroonian passport but never been selected to any of Cameroonian national teams:

   #1. Joel Embiid (213-C-94, college: Kansas, currently plays in NBA) led Philadelphia 76ers to a victory over the Los Angeles Clippers (6-4) 122-113 in the NBA in Thursday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Embiid had a double-double by scoring 41 points and getting 13 rebounds. He also added 4 blocks in 33 minutes. The Philadelphia 76ers have 6-5 record this season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Embiid's fifth year with the team. Embiid has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 28.4ppg, 12.5rpg, 3.5apg and 2.2bpg in 11 games he played so far.

   #2. Paul Biligha (200-C/F-90, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked Virtus Bologna (2-3) 94-75 in the Italian Serie A in Sunday night's game. Biligha scored 12 points. Umana Reyer Venezia (5-0) is placed second in the Serie A. So far his team won all five games in the Regular Season. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. Biligha's overall stats this season are: 5.8ppg and 2.0rpg. He has a dual citizenship: Cameroonian and Italian.

   #3. Pascal Siakam (206-F-94, college: N.Mexico St., currently plays in NBA) could not help the Toronto Raptors (10-1) in their last game on Monday. Despite his very good performance the Toronto Raptors (10-1) were defeated 124-109 on the road by the Milwaukee Bucks. Siakam was the second best scorer with 22 points. He also added 8 rebounds. This season Siakam has very high stats. He averages: 11.3ppg, 7.4rpg, 2.2apg and 1.2spg.

   #4. Nicolas Batum (203-SF-88, currently plays in NBA) was the major contributor in a Charlotte Hornets' victory against the Miami Heat (4-5) 125-113 in the NBA in Tuesday night's game. Batum scored 20 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 32 minutes. The Charlotte Hornets have 5-5 record this season. Batum is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Hornets' roster. He has reliable stats this season: 10.5ppg, 6.5rpg, 4.1apg and 1.2spg in 10 games. Batum is another player who holds two passports: French and Cameroonian.

   #5. JP Tokoto (198-F-93, college: N.Carolina, currently plays in Israel) contributed to a Hapoel Eilat's victory against the closely-ranked Bnei Hasharon (1-4) 81-75 in the Israeli Winner League on Monday night. He had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 10 rebounds. Tokoto also added 5 assists and 3 steals in 37 minutes. Hapoel Eilat (2-3) is placed seventh in the Winner League. Tokoto has reliable stats this year: 11.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 2.8apg and 1.5spg in four games. He has both American and Cameroonian nationalities.

   #6. Ralph Temgoua (194-G-87, college: St.Lawrence, currently plays in France) was not able to help SO Maritime Boulogne (3-6) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite Temgoua's good performance SO Maritime Boulogne (#9) was defeated 88-79 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Besancon (#5) in the Group A. He scored 10 points. Temgoua averaged so far 10.8ppg, 2.9rpg and 2.4apg. He also holds two passports: Cameroonian and French.

   #7. Experienced Tcheussi Aristide Mouaha (190-G-0, currently plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for Roma S.Azzurra (4-1) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Mouaha's very good performance Roma S.Azzurra (#5) was edged 91-89 on the opponent's court by the leading Salerno in the Group D. He was the second best scorer with 22 points. Mouaha also added 5 passes. This season Mouaha has very high stats. He averages: 21.0ppg, 6.2rpg, 3.8apg and 2.4spg.

   #8. Paul Herman Eboua (203-F/C-0, currently plays in Italy) helped Roseto Sharks win their game against the 16th-ranked Termoforgia JE crushing them 86-57 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) on Sunday night. Eboua scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Eboua has averaged so far 5.2ppg and 2.0rpg.

   #9. Maxime Djo Ebala (208-C-94, currently plays in France) couldn't help Orchesien BC in their game against Souffelweyersheim in the French NM1 (third division). He scored 6 points in only 11 minutes. His team lost 61-69. Djo Ebala has averaged so far 2.7ppg and 1.7rpg in three games. He has dual citizenship: Cameroonian and French.

   #10. Johan Bitjaa Kody (207-C-93, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Spain) managed to help Caceres Patrimonio de la Humanidad to win against the league outsider Leyma Basquet 84-80 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) last Friday. Bitjaa Kody scored only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Bitjaa Kody has averaged so far 5.5ppg and 3.7rpg.
