FRANK TCHOUBAYE
Here is the weekly review of the top performing Cameroonian players, who play currently abroad.

Frank Tchoubaye
Frank Tchoubaye
#1. This week's number one is an international forward Frank Tchoubaye (198-92, currently plays in France). He led Souffelweyersheim to a victory against the tenth-ranked Saint Vallier (1-2) 69-59 in the French NM1 (third division) in Saturday night's game. Tchoubaye scored 14 points, had 7 boards, passed 3 assists and added 5 steals in 28 minutes on the court. BC Souffelweyersheim (3-0) is placed third in Group A. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Tchoubaye averages: 8.7ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.7apg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 58.3%, 3FGP: 17.6% in three games he played so far. Ex-Condor de Yaounde player is currently a member of the Cameroonian senior national team.

Landry Nnoko
Landry Nnoko
#2. Second place goes to an international center Landry Nnoko (208-94, college: Clemson, currently plays in Basketball Champions League). He could not help Sakarya BSB (0-1) in their last game on Monday. Despite Nnoko's good performance Sakarya BSB was edged 87-85 on the road by the second-ranked Fribourg. He scored 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. It was his first game for Sakarya BSB this season. Nnoko's team will play only one more game in the Basketball Champions League Qualifying Round. And that game will be critical. Nnoko is in the roster of the Cameroonian senior national team.

Aldo Curti
Aldo Curti
#3. The Cameroonian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international point guard Aldo Curti (180-87, currently plays in France) is a teammate of previously mentioned Frank Tchoubaye. But that was another game of his team in French NM1 which we would like to mention. Curti managed to help BC Souffelweyersheim to win against the ninth-ranked Kaysersberg (1-2) crushing them 65-43. He scored 5 points, made 10 passes and 7 steals. BC Souffelweyersheim (3-0) is placed third in Group A. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. It's Curti's first season with the team. Curti's overall stats this year are: 7.3ppg, 3.0rpg, 7.0apg, 2.3spg, 2FGP: 66.7%, 3FGP: 21.4% and FT: 71.4%. He has a dual citizenship: Cameroonian and French. Curti played for the Cameroonian national team three years ago.

D.J. Strawberry

#4. An experienced shooting guard D.J. Strawberry (196-85, college: Maryland, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help Gran Canaria (0-0) in their game against FC Barcelona (1-0) in the Spanish Liga Endesa. He recorded 7 points in 20 minutes. It was his first game for Gran Canaria this season. Gran Canaria was badly defeated 98-78 in Barcelona by the higher-ranked (#3) FC Barcelona. Strawberry is another player who holds two passports: Cameroonian and American. He is also Cameroonian national team player.

Gedeon Pitard
Gedeon Pitard
#5. International guard Gedeon Pitard (188-89, currently plays in France) contributed to a 1-point Chalons-Reims' victory against the league outsider Provence Basket (0-3) 81-80 in the French ProA on Tuesday night. Pitard scored only 4 points. Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket (3-0) is placed first in the ProA. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. Pitard's overall stats this season are: 2.5ppg and 1.5apg. He has both Cameroonian and French nationalities. Pitard plays currently for the Cameroonian national team.

Jeremy Nzeulie
Jeremy Nzeulie
#6. Shooting guard Jeremy Nzeulie (188-91, currently plays in France) was not able to secure a victory for SIG Strasbourg (2-1) in their game against Pau-Lacq-Orthez (1-2) in the French ProA. He cannot count it as his best performance. Nzeulie scored only 3 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 31 minutes. SIG Strasbourg lost 65-70 on the opponent's court to the lower-ranked (#12) Pau-Lacq-Orthez. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. This year Nzeulie's overall stats are: 3.3ppg and 3.0rpg in three games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Cameroonian National Team roster.

Harding NaNa
Harding NaNa
#7. Former international forward Harding NaNa (203-81, college: Delaware, currently plays in Switzerland) couldn't help Swiss Central in their game against Geneve Lions (1-0) in the Swiss SBL. NaNa recorded 7 points and added 3 assists. It was his first game for Swiss Central this season. Swiss Central was edged 72-71 at home by the leading Geneve Lions. NaNa used to play for the Cameroonian national team three years ago.

Franck Kouagnia
Franck Kouagnia
#8. Forward Franck Kouagnia (201-89, currently plays in France) couldn't help GET Vosges (0-3) in their last game. Despite his good performance the 13th-placed GET Vosges (0-3) was edged 67-65 in Feurs by the higher-ranked (#8) Feurs EF in the Group A. Kouagnia scored 10 points in 23 minutes. So far GET Vosges lost all three games in the Regular Season. This year Kouagnia's total stats are: 5.3ppg, 4.7rpg and 2.3apg in three games. He plays currently for the Cameroonian national team.

The list of other players, who all have Cameroonian passport but never been selected to any of Cameroonian national teams:

#1. Ralph Temgoua (194-G-87, college: St.Lawrence, currently plays in France) could not help SO Maritime Boulogne (0-3) in their last game. Despite his good performance the 12th-placed SO Maritime Boulogne (0-3) lost 89-97 on the road to the second-ranked Saint-Quentin in the Group A. Temgoua scored 11 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 34 minutes. So far SO Maritime Boulogne lost all three games in the Regular Season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Temgoua's overall stats are: 6.3ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.0apg in three games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Cameroonian and French.

#2. Roland Nyama (198-G/F-93, college: Stony Brook, currently plays in Germany) was not able to help Lions in their game against Hamburg (2-0) in the German ProA (second division). Despite his very good performance in Saturday night's game Nyama was the top scorer with 17 points. He also added 5 rebounds. Nyama has relatively good stats this season: 14.5ppg and 4.5rpg. He is another player who holds two passports: Cameroonian and German. Despite Nyama's Cameroonian nationality, he previously played for the German U16 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Cameroonian team.
