   #1. This week's number one is an experienced international shooting guard D.J. Strawberry (196-85, college: Maryland, currently plays in Turkey). He was the major contributor in Besiktas' victory against the closely-ranked Eskisehir Basket (16-14) 87-69 in the Turkish BSL in Thursday night's game. Strawberry scored 15 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 9 assists in 35 minutes on the court. Besiktas Sompo Japan Istanbul (20-10) is placed fourth in the BSL. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Strawberry has relatively good stats this year: 11.8ppg, 3.4rpg, 3.8apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 53.5%, 3FGP: 31.4% and FT: 70.1% in 29 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Cameroonian and American. Strawberry is currently a member of the Cameroonian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international power forward Kenny Kadji (211-88, college: Miami, FL, currently plays in Turkey). Kadji led Tofas to a victory against one of league's weakest teams Yesilgiresun Bld (9-21) 75-70 in the Turkish BSL on Sunday night. He scored 15 points, had 7 rebounds and made 4 blocks in 30 minutes. Tofas Bursa (24-5) is placed second in the BSL. It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Kadji's first season with the team. This year Kadji averages: 9.8ppg, 3.1rpg, 2FGP: 51.2%, 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 69.8% in 29 games. He is in the roster of the Cameroonian senior national team.

   #3. The Cameroonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international shooting guard Jeremy Nzeulie (188-91, currently plays in France). Nzeulie contributed to Chalon/Saor's victory against the closely-ranked Le Portel (14-19) 81-76 in the French ProA on Saturday night. He scored 13 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. ES Chalon-Sur-Saone (15-18) is placed 11th in the ProA. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. Nzeulie's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. This season Nzeulie has relatively solid stats: 14.1ppg, 4.0rpg, 3.0apg, 2FGP: 49.0%, 3FGP: 31.0% and FT: 81.3%. He is another player who holds two passports: Cameroonian and French. Nzeulie is also a member of the Cameroonian senior national team.

Despite his very good performance Sluc Nancy lost 65-72 on the road to the higher-ranked (#5) Lille Metropole. Williams was the top scorer with 19 points. He also added 6 rebounds in 32 minutes. Williams' team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is extremely important. This year Williams' overall stats are: 8.0ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.2apg and 1.2spg in 33 games. He is also Cameroonian national team player.

Mbala was MVP of the game. He scored 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Chorale de Roanne Basket (25-8) is placed second in the ProB. Mbala's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. Mbala has reliable stats this season: 12.8ppg and 5.8rpg. He plays currently for the Cameroonian national team.

Power forward Gaston Essengue (203-83, college: UNLV, currently plays in Argentina) was the main contributor in a Estudiantes Olavarria's victory against the sixth-ranked Centro Espanol Plottier (20-19) 81-71 in the Argentinian TNA (second division) on Thursday night. Essengue was the best player in that game. He scored 21 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 28 minutes. Estudiantes Olavarria (25-14) is placed second in South group. It was his team's tenth consecutive victory in a row. Essengue's stats this year are: 14.5ppg, 6.7rpg and 1.3apg in 30 games. He is a former international player as he played for the Cameroonian senior team three years ago.

Former international swingman Luc Mbah a Moute (200-86, college: UCLA, currently plays in NBA) contributed to a Houston Rockets' victory against the Utah Jazz (48-34) 112-102 in the NBA last Tuesday. He scored 8 points in 20 minutes. The Houston Rockets have a very good 65-17 record this season. Mbah a Moute averaged so far 7.2ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.1spg in 67 games. He used to play for the Cameroonian national team three years ago.

   #8. Center Junior MBida (204-90, currently plays in France) was not able to help Entente Orleans 45 (24-9) in their last game on Saturday. Despite MBida's good performance Entente Orleans 45 was defeated 90-82 in Le Havre by the one of league's weakest teams STB Le Havre (#17). He scored 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. MBida's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. MBida's total stats this season are: 6.8ppg and 5.4rpg. He used to play for the Cameroonian national team back in 2015.

International guard Gedeon Pitard (188-89, currently plays in France) managed to help Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket to win against the tenth-ranked JL Bourg (17-16) 87-84 in the French ProA last Saturday. He scored only 2 points. Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket (14-19) is placed 14th in the ProA. Pitard's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. Pitard's total stats this season are: 5.1ppg, 2.6rpg, 1.8apg and 1.1spg. He is also in the roster of the Cameroonian national team.

   #1. Joel Embiid (213-C-94, college: Kansas, currently plays in NBA) could not help the Philadelphia 76ers (52-30) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his very good performance the Philadelphia 76ers (52-30) were edged 114-112 on the road by the Boston Celtics. Embiid recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and getting 12 rebounds. He also added 4 assists and 4 blocks. It's Embiid's fourth season with the team. Embiid has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 22.8ppg, 11.1rpg, 3.1apg and 1.8bpg.

   #2. Paul Biligha (200-C/F-90, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Italy) led Umana Venezia to a victory against the eighth-ranked Vanoli Cremona (15-15) 87-77 in the Italian Serie A in Sunday night's game. Biligha recorded 12 points. Umana Reyer Venezia (23-7) is placed first in the Serie A. Biligha's overall stats this season are: 6.3ppg and 3.1rpg. He has a dual citizenship: Cameroonian and Italian.

   #3. Ralph Temgoua (194-G-87, college: St.Lawrence, currently plays in France) was the major contributor in a SO Maritime Boulogne's surprising victory against the second-ranked Saint Vallier (26-8) 96-91 in the French NM1 (third division) last Saturday. Temgoua recorded 22 points and added 3 assists in 36 minutes. SO Maritime Boulogne (17-17) is placed ninth in the NM1. This year Temgoua has relatively solid stats: 10.2ppg, 2.8rpg and 2.6apg in 32 games he played so far. He is another player who holds two passports: Cameroonian and French.

   #4. Pascal Siakam (206-F-94, college: N.Mexico St., currently plays in NBA) was not able to help the Toronto Raptors in their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers (50-32) in the NBA. Siakam recorded 9 points. But the Toronto Raptors (59-23) were crushed 128-93 in Cleveland by the Cavaliers. It was Raptors' first loss after four consecutive victories. Siakam's stats this season are: 7.2ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.8apg.

   #5. Bertrand Nkali (206-F-92, college: Houston, currently plays in Georgia) contributed to Mgzavrebi's victory against the second-ranked Cactus Tbilisi (22-10) 87-75 in a derby game in the Georgian Superleague in Tuesday night's game. Nkali scored 11 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 26 minutes. Mgzavrebi-Armia Tbilisi (13-19) is placed seventh in the Superleague. This year Nkali's total stats are: 8.8ppg, 9.2rpg and 2.0bpg in 31 games.

   #6. Philippe Bayehe (204-F-99, currently plays in Italy) contributed to a Roma S.Azzurra's victory against the third-ranked Bisceglie 60-55 in the Italian Serie B (third division) on Tuesday night. Bayehe scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 30 minutes. This year Bayehe's total stats are: 9.1ppg, 9.0rpg and 1.3apg in 32 games.

   #7. Jean-Dieudonniz Biog (205-C-95, currently plays in France) helped Quimper UJAP edge the closely-ranked Poitiers 77-75 in the French ProB (second division) in Saturday night's game. He scored 7 points, had 4 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Biog's total stats this season are: 2.1ppg and 2.1rpg. He has both Cameroonian and French nationalities. Despite Biog's Cameroonian passport, he previously played for the French U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Cameroonian team.

   #8. Experienced Paul Herman Eboua (203-F-0, currently plays in Italy) is a teammate of previously mentioned Philippe Bayehe and both played together in the last Italian Serie B game. Eboua managed to help Stella Azzurra Roma in a victory against the third-ranked Bisceglie 60-55. He scored only 2 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 12 minutes. This year Eboua's total stats are: 3.3ppg and 4.3rpg in 18 games.

LANDRY NNOKO ALBA Berlin (BBL) landed 24-year old Cameroonian international center Landry Nnoko (208-114kg-94, college: Clemson). He already started the season at Sakarya Buyuksehir Basketbol in Turkish BSL league. Nnoko managed to play in three leagues this year (!!!). In 6 BSL games he averaged impressive 17.5ppg, 9.3rpg, 1.2apg and 1.2bpg. Nnoko also played 6 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he had 14.5ppg, 9.2rpg and 3.5apg. Angolan Point Guard Yanick Moreira (211-C-91, college: SMU) did not play a significant number of minutes in the second half of his nation's 77-73 win over Cameroon in the FIBA 2019 World Cup qualifiers. The Guard was ejected in the early minutes of the third quarter after wiping his face with Cameroon Head Coach Lazare Adingono's towel.
