N'Jonkou is back at Strasbourg Illkirch-Graffenstaden

Amina N'Jonkou

Strasbourg Illkirch-Graffenstaden (LF2) agreed terms with 29-year old Cameroonian ex-international power forward Amina N'Jonkou (185-88, college: Arizona). It is actually her comeback to llkirch-Graff. as she has played here before. N'Jonkou played last season at Montbrison Feminines BC in the LF2. In 26 games she had 11.5ppg, 8.6rpg and 1.7apg. Quite impressive season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-French LF2 Honorable Mention.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others N'Jonkou played in the final of Spanish LF2 in 2014. She was also voted Eurobasket.com All-French LF2 1st Team back in 2011.
N'Jonkou represented Cameroon at the African Championships in Yaounde (Cameroon) two years ago. Her team won Silver and her stats at that event were 8 games: 8.4ppg, 8.6rpg, 2.1apg, FGP: 32.8%, 3PT: 23.1%, FT: 58.1%.
N'Jonkou's career allowed her to visit three different continents. She tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. N'Jonkou has played previously professionally in Colombia (Catolica), Switzerland (Nyon) and Spain (ASAC Comunicaciones Adba Aviles, Conquero and Campus Promete).
She attended University of Arizona until 2009 and it will be her ninth season as a professional player.
