Gladiators BBC secured a narrow 53–50 victory to claim a prize of 7 million Burundian francs. Hippos BBC received 3 million Burundian francs following their strong performance in the final. The closely contested match highlighted the growing competitiveness of women’s basketball in the country. An additional one million Burundian francs was awarded to each team by the president of the Fédération de Basketball du Burundi, AloyAloys Ntakirutimanae gesture served as recognition and encouragement for both teams’ outstanding efforts.
