APR Women continue their perfect run

APR Women - Gladiators 97-42

APR Women delivered a commanding performance in the WBLA Zone Five qualifiers, thrashing Gladiators 97–42 in a one-sided encounter. From the opening tip, APR asserted dominance with a blistering 24–10 first quarter, combining tight defense with efficient scoring in transition. They maintained their high tempo throughout, extending the lead to 49–20 by halftime. The third quarter was their most explosive, as they poured in 29 points and completely overwhelmed the Gladiators’ defense. Despite the Gladiators’ efforts to stay competitive, APR’s relentless pace, teamwork, and depth proved too much.
Kamba Diakite (172-G-1999) led the way with 17 points and Yacine Diop (178-G/F-1995, college: Louisville) notched 15. Kadidiatou Traore (1995) answered with 10 points in the losing effort.
