KPA score second straight victory

The Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) women's team registered their second straight win on the second day of the East and Central Africa club championships at the Nyayo Stadium basketball gymnasium.

After dismissing Uganda's A1 Challenge 70-37 in the opening match on Tuesday, the Portswomen strolled to a comfortable 69-31 victory over Berco Stars from Burundi.
There was never any doubt about the result of the match from the start as the KPA dominated Berco, racing to a 27-10 lead at the end of the first quarter.
The Burundi side mainly made up of young players were no match for the Kenyans who towered over them in everything from physical size to skill, tactics and experience.
The KPA led 46-18 at half time and went on to take the match without shifting out of first gear.
