BERCO stars won 2015 Zone V Championship - 4 Years ago
BERCO stars from Burundi won 2015 Zone V Championship as they beat KCCA BBC 63-52 in the Final. BERCO opened the game with an 18-9 lead and enjoyed a 35-16 halftime advantage. The team from Uganda tried hard to recover, but managed only to reduce to final 11 points. Kalme stepped up with 25 points and Nezerwa posted 13. Joy Chemutai(157-G-93) replied with 17 points in a loss. Both teams have qualified for the Africa Championship Cup in Angola in November.   [read more]
