Aix-Maurienne signs Louri Frejus Zerbo

Aix-Maurienne Savoie Basket (ProB) signed 31-year old Burkinabe ex-international center Louri Frejus Zerbo (208-89). He is a dual citizen owning also Ivorian passport. Zerbo has played for the last two seasons at JL Bourg Basket in the Jeep ELITE ProA. Jeep ELITE ProA was a little too high level for him, where in 22 French Jeep ELITE ProA games he had just 1.5ppg and 1.1rpg last season. ProB will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He also represented Burkina Faso at the Afrobasket Championships in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) seven years ago. Zerbo's team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 7 games: 3.7ppg, 4.6rpg.
Zerbo has played previously for four other teams: Limoges CSP Elite, Olympique Antibes, Gravelines Dunkerque and STB Le Havre.
Zerbo's team made it to the French Leaders Cup final in 2019.
