Bourg keeps Zerbo for another season

LOURI FREJUS ZERBO

JL Bourg Basket (Jeep ELITE ProA) re-signed 30-year old Burkinabe center Louri Frejus Zerbo (208-89). He has a double citizenship as he also holds Ivorian passport. Zerbo played there last season. But in 18 Jeep ELITE ProA games he averaged just 0.7ppg and 1.6rpg. He helped them to make it to the cup final.
The most of previous (2017-18) season Zerbo spent at Olympique Antibes (ProA) where in 18 games he had only 2.4ppg and 2.4rpg. Zerbo also played for Limoges CSP Elite (ProA). In 7 games he recorded only 1.6ppg and 2.6rpg. He also played 6 games in Eurocup, but he did not score anything and had only 4 rebounds.
Zerbo won French ProA championship title in 2015.
He represented Burkina Faso at the Afrobasket Championships in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) six years ago. Zerbo's team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 7 games: 3.7ppg, 4.6rpg.
Zerbo has played previously for two other teams: Gravelines Dunkerque and STB Le Havre.
