Tunisia recorded the second straight win at the 2013 AfroBasket. They knocked down Burkina Faso in Group B. Macram Ben Romdhane (204-PF-89, agency: Prossin Sports Management Inc.) posted 23 points to lead the winners.
Tunisia set the tone early in the game. They unloaded 28 points to take a 14-point lead after ten minutes. Tunisia extended the lead in the second frame. They secured a 56:24 halftime advantage. Tunisia kept their opponents at bay throughout the third term. They entered the fourth frame up by 37 points. Tunisia never slowed down and rallied to the victory at the end. Mourad El Mabrouk (194-SG-86) chipped in 16 points, while Salah Mejri (217-C-86) added 13 points for the winners. Joris Bado (192-F-91) answered with 14 points for Burkina Faso.
