Botswana U16- Angola U16 10:64
Angola roll over Botswana at the Classification Round of the AfroBasket U16. Angola won 64:10 and will play for the 5th place tomorrow. Botswana meanwhile suffered another loss and will take on Gabon for 7-8 places.
Angola opened the game with a 16-2 run and kept the opponents scoreless for the next 20 minutes. Angola won the second period 14-0 and then added massive 19-0 run in the third period. Botswana managed to score 8 points in the last stanza, but lost the quarter 8-15.
Eduarda Inacio Gabriel paced all the winners with 14 points and Avelina Nene Ezequiel Peso scored 9. Neusa Madalena Candido finished the game with 8, while Neuma Vunge Ambriz Avelino and Juda Maria Andre Quindanda added 6 each. Precious Kebonang produced 4 points in defeat and Gaone Wame Juah Gabobofane Moepeng netted 3. Lesego Mosarwa followed them with 2 points in a loss.
