Botswana U16- Egypt U16 48:93

Egypt beat Botswana in the Quarterfinal stage of the AfroBasket U16. Egypt won the first period 27-0 and reached 93:48 total win.
Egypt erupted with 27 unanswered points in the first period and added 18-14 in the second period. They posted a 25-12 run in the third quarter and also managed to win the last period. With 23-22 Egypt closed the game and headed to the Semifinals.
Raneem Med Ahmed Abdelalim Elgedawy top-scored for the winners with 14 points and Radwa Salem Ahmed Sherif netted 11. Laila Khaled Ahmed Fouad Elkousy delivered 10, whilst Rana Mahmoud Abdelzaher Abdelfattah had 9. Dorcus Lekoko ended up with 18 points in defeat and Malebogo Sethlare scored 8. Precious Kebonang produced 6, whilst Lesego Beauty Lushiam and Tshegofatso Morotsi added 4 each.
In the Semifinals Egypt U16 will face Tunisia U16.
