Energie lands Veronica Keita, ex Kepler

Energie BC (D1) signed 24-year-old Beninese 190cm center Veronica Keita. She played this summer at Kepler in the Rwandan D1 league. In 18 games she averaged 14.5ppg, 19.2rpg, 1.5apg, 1.6spg, and 1.4bpg. She helped them reach the Rwandan League final after finishing the regular season as the second-best team. Keita had a successful year and was voted to Afrobasket.com All-Rwandan League All-Defensive Team, All-Imports Team, and League Player of the Week (5 times).
She has also played in Kenya (Kenya Ports Authority).
