Aspac and SFALLAH claimed respectively the men and women 2010 national championships of Benin played last month.The 2010 edition of senior championship recorded 6 men and women teams. In men category, the defending champion, Aspac ended first with 19 points followed by ASO Modle with 18 points. Elan Sportif ranked third with 16 points while Renaissance finished fourth with 15 points. Energie and Arc en Ciel placed respectively fifth and sixth with 10 points each.

In female competition, SFALLAH claimed the title with 19 points followed by Energie with18 points. ASO Modle ended third with 17 points while Renaissance took the fourth position with 13 points. Aspac ranked fifth with 12 points and Destiny ended sixth with 11 points.

MUUSA DAMA CB Prat Juventud (LEB Gold) landed 23-year old Beninese forward Muusa Dama (206-102kg-95, college: E.Illinois, agency: Blacktop Management). He already started the season at Sorgues BC in French NM1 league, but left the team in Nov.'18. In 9 games he averaged 10.2ppg, 8.2rpg, 1.1spg and 1.0bpg this season. NM2 newcomer Amicale Laique Montivilliers inked 21-year old naturalized Beninese power forward Nanzif Indau-Chidjou (198-96). He played most recently at Union Venelles in NM3. Indau-Chidjou helped his team get promotion to NM2. He won NM3 in 2018. Indau-Chidjou has played previously for French team Saint Quentin. Ghana to depart for Benin tomorrow - 4 months ago
Ghana will compete in the upcoming FIBA 3X3 Championship at the sub regional level in Benin's capital, Cotonou due to take place on August 16 and August 17. The country will be represented in the Male and Female categories with four members for each team in the two day competition.
