Semi-Finals Game 1: KZ Marlins - MBB 78-59

Marlins dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to MBB 's 18. Marlins forced 20 MBB turnovers and outrebounded them 60-44 including 20 on the offensive glass. Marlins players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Tirivashe Gapara nailed a double-double by scoring 28 points and 14 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) for the winning side and guard Benjamin Myburgh (185-1997) accounted for 10 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Marlins players scored in double figures. Marlins' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international power forward Reece Prinsloo (203-1991) came up with 9 points and 17 rebounds and the former international guard Celumusa Khumalo (193-1988) added 17 points respectively for MBB in the defeat.
