REG forced 26 Kepler turnovers. American guard Cleveland Thomas (192-1993, college: WKU, agency: Slash Sports) nailed 27 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals for the winning side and point guard Jean Umuhoza (175-2001) accounted for 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Cyiza Twizeyimana came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds and Herve Irakoze added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Kepler in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
