Regular Season Round 4: WC Mountaineers - KZ Marlins 83-88

Undefeated leaderMarlins delivered the third consecutive victory. This time they beat bottom-ranked Mountaineers (0-2) 88-83 in Cape. KZ Marlins had a 43-29 advantage in offensive rebounds. WC Mountaineers were plagued by 35 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Storm Gilchrist (207-2005) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. Swingman Sifiso Gininda (186-1998) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Marlins players scored in double figures. The former international center Stephen Gabriel (205-1991) replied with 18 points and 4 assists and point guard Nkosinathi Chibi (178-1998) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for WC Mountaineers. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. KZ Marlins maintains first position with 3-0 record, which they share with M.Rhinos. WC Mountaineers at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with S.Panthers.
