Regular Season Round 10: NC Zebras - NW Eagles 60-58

The most exciting game of round 10 in the BNL took place in Kimberley. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Eagles (1-4) to fifth ranked Zebras (2-3) 60-58 in the game for the fourth place. Zebras had a 37-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. Gabonese Kevin Romenoh (193-1986) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Zimbabwean power forward Thomas Rutsito (202-1997) chipped in 14 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Zebras' coach Tebogo Letshoo used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side point guard Thabiso Mogakabe (-1995) responded with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Lebogang Bassie (189-1989) scored 6 points and 18 rebounds. Zebras moved-up to fourth place, which they share with L.Pride. Eagles at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Egoli Magic and FS Warriors.
