An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kwazulu. Third ranked Limpopo P. faced second-best KZ Marlins. Guests from (2-1) defeated host KZ Marlins (2-2) 59-45. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Limpopo P. forced 22 KZ Marlins turnovers. It was a good game for Lufuno Mutungutungu who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 13 rebounds. Boitumelo Masenamela contributed with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Pretty Shange answered with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Lineo Rakuoane added 6 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for KZ Marlins. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Limpopo P. moved-up to second place, which they share with Tshwane S. KZ Marlins at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. Limpopo P. will play against FS Warriors (#4) in Bloemfontein in the next round.
