Undefeated leader Suns delivered the fourth consecutive victory on Friday night. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Warriors (0-4) 97-67 in Bloemfontein. Suns forced 24 Warriors turnovers and outrebounded them 48-28 including 22 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for DR Congolese power forward Emmanuel Shine (199-1994) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds. Gabonese guard Gleen Bidza helped adding 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Suns players scored in double figures. At the losing side Prince Dube responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and center Khotso Mahloane (199-1992) scored 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Suns. They maintain first place with 4-0 record. Warriors lost their fourth game in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost.
