City Oilers conquered the eighth straight NBL title. They nipped Blazers in the decider to defend the trophy. 28 personal fouls committed by Blazers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Nigerian Francis Azolibe fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international Drileba Tonny chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. Deng Dikong produced 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Christopher Omanye (183-1994) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
