Semi-Finals Game 3: UCU Ladies - KIU Rangers 65-40

UCU Ladies sealed their Finals appearance as they completed the sweep of KIU Rangers. UCU Ladies held KIU Rangers to an opponent 17.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 38.8 percent accuracy of the winners. UCU Ladies forced 20 KIU Rangers turnovers and outrebounded them 59-45 including a 49-31 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for forward Rose Akon (-2000) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 28 rebounds and 5 blocks. Agatha Kamwada (-2000) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Guard Ninette Uwineza answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and guard Ines Kanyamunza added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for KIU Rangers. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
