Quarter-Finals Round 3: KCCA Leopards - Angels 68-40

KCCA Leopards held Angels to an opponent 19.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 30.4 percent accuracy of the winners. KCCA Leopards forced 31 Angels turnovers and outrebounded them 57-46 including 20 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international center Martha Soigi (185-1986) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Ruth Letaru (-1997) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. Four KCCA Leopards players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Stella Lunkuse (-1998) who recorded 9 points and 14 rebounds and Susan Amito (-1988) added 6 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
