Quarter-Finals Round 3: UCU Ladies - Magic Stormers 70-43

UCU Ladies held Magic Stormers to an opponent 21.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.1 percent accuracy of the winners. UCU Ladies forced 24 Magic Stormers turnovers and outrebounded them 54-40 including a 36-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. UCU Ladies players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for forward Rose Akon (-2000) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Shakirah Nanvubya (-2000) contributed with 7 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Shila Lamunu answered with 16 points and guard Christine Nakito added 7 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Magic Stormers. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
