Very predictable result in Kampala where third ranked KCCA Leopards (12-4) smashed 9th ranked Nabisunsa (2-14) 88-30 on Friday. KCCA Leopards held Nabisunsa to an opponent 18.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 43.8 percent accuracy of the winners. KCCA Leopards forced 30 Nabisunsa turnovers and outrebounded them 62-32 including a 23-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. KCCA Leopards looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Nabisunsa's players. The best player for the winners was the former international center Martha Soigi (185-1986) who scored 9 points and 10 rebounds. Center Asinah Kabendera chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Tamasha Nsubuga produced 11 points and guard Sarah Namale (-2005) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KCCA Leopards moved-up to second place, which they share with UCU Ladies. Nabisunsa lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 14 games lost.
