The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: UCU Ladies (#4) and Nabisunsa (#8). Nabisunsa was defeated at home 48-60 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. UCU Ladies forced 20 Nabisunsa turnovers and outrebounded them 51-31 including a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Caroline Nakato (-1999) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Shakirah Nanvubya (-2000) contributed with 7 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Guard Patience Karungi answered with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Darlene Tashobya (-2005) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Nabisunsa. UCU Ladies (7-2) moved-up to second place, which they share with KCCA Leopards and KIU Rangers. Nabisunsa lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with A1 Challenge and Nkumba LM.
