FAP held REG to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 34.4 percent accuracy of the winners. FAP forced 24 REG turnovers. 30 personal fouls committed by REG helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Deshaun Morman (193-1994, college: Towson) stepped up and scored 14 points for the winners and his fellow American import center Tyjhai Byers (211-1998, college: ECSU) chipped in 10 points and 10 rebounds. Byers is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side American guard Cleveland Thomas (192-1993, college: WKU, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 23 points and 8 rebounds and guard Jean Nshobozwa (193-1998) scored 7 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
