The most important game in the last round took place in between third ranked South African Tigers (2-3) and sixth ranked DR Congolese Fukash (1-4) on Tuesday night. Tigers were defeated by Fukash in a tough game on the road 92-96. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tigers. They outrebounded Tigers 56-40 including a 24-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Fukash looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Rolly Nganga (201-1993) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Djack Kabuya (201-1993) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American Billy Preston (209-1997, college: Kansas) replied with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Pieter Prinsloo (208-1992, college: Marist) added 21 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Tigers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Fukash left bottom position moving up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Tigers at the other side keep the third position with three games lost. They share it with FAP and SLAC.
