Undefeated Cameroonian FAP (1-1) recorded its first loss at the home court. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked South African Tigers (1-2) 73-70. Tigers forced 21 FAP turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for Central African-French forward Evans Ganapamo (201-1994, college: PVAMU) who led his team to a victory with 24 points. DR Congolese-Canadian guard Myck Kabongo (190-1992, college: Texas) contributed with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners. Swingman Cedric Tsangue (194-1991) replied with 16 points and center Alexis Wangmene (205-1989, college: Texas, agency: DC Sports) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for FAP. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Tigers left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with Cobra. Defending Cameroonian champion FAP keeps the third position with one game lost. Tigers will play against Cobra (#5) in the next round. FAP will play against the league's leader P.Luanda and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
