Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala: Magic Stormers (#5) and A1 Challenge (#8). Magic Stormers (3-1) crushed visiting A1 Challenge (0-4) by 20 points 55-35. Magic Stormers held A1 Challenge to an opponent 16.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 29.6 percent accuracy of the winners. Magic Stormers forced 22 A1 Challenge turnovers and outrebounded them 75-39 including a 31-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for guard Shila Lamunu who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Diana Letaru contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Magic Stormers' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Lilly Mwimba (-1998) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds and Rebecca Buhendwa added 2 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for A1 Challenge.
