Regular Season Round 2: KIU Rangers - A1 Challenge 61-55

Everything went according to plan when KIU Rangers defeated A1 Challenge in Kampala 61-55 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Forward Racheal Akinyi notched 19 points to lead the effort and Patricia Nakiru (-1994) supported her with 8 points. Even 14 points and 5 rebounds by forward Sharua Nakirya (-2000) did not help to save the game for A1 Challenge. Rebecca Buhendwa added 15 points for the guests. KIU Rangers' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala Nabisunsa.
