Regular Season Round 6: NW Eagles - FS Warriors 63-47

Eagles can celebrate finally their first win this season after two consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Warriors (0-2) 63-47 on Saturday. Eagles held Warriors to an opponent 21.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 32.9 percent accuracy of the winners. Eagles forced 29 Warriors turnovers. Davison Chivero scored 16 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Thapelo Mkhatshwa chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Job Mashwabathi (195) with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks and Phadima Mahamotsa scored 4 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Eagles (1-2) left bottom position moving up to fourth place. Loser Warriors still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with EC Windbreakers.
