Regular Season Round 4: S.Panthers - NW Eagles 81-63

Panthers' fans can celebrate the first win of their team after one consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Eagles (0-2) 81-63. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Panthers forced 25 Eagles turnovers and outrebounded them 71-54 including a 34-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. Eagles were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Angolan Christian Kabasele (-90) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds and forward Kabelo Kubayi who added 11 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side swingman Sanele Ngomane (187) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and Davison Chivero scored 19 points and 4 blocks. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. Panthers (1-1) left bottom position moving up to second place, which they share with WC Mountaineers. Eagles at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with NC Zebras and L.Pride.
