Defending champion Al Ahly Cairo (Superleague) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 36-year old American 197cm guard Kevin Murphy (college: Tenn Tech, agency: The Crew A.M.). He started the season at Sagesse in Lebanese DLBL.

In 2012 he was drafted by Utah Jazz (NBA) in second round (47th overall). The former Tennessee Tech University star is in his 14th (!!!) season in pro basketball.

He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America) in sixteen different countries.
